JOINING HCE

 

INDIVIDUAL HCE UNITS (Regular Membership) COLLECT YEARLY DUES OF BETWEEN $10-15 FROM EACH PERSON. OF THESE DUES, $10.00 IS SENT TO THE COUNTY ORGANIZATION FOR EACH PERSON EACH YEAR.  SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP IS PRESENTLY $13.00/YEAR AND IS MADE PAYABLE TO McLEAN COUNTY HCE AND SENT TO: Pat Pulokas, 111 Miriam Way , Towanda, IL 61776. (PHONE: 309-728-2118) Instead of attending monthly unit meetings, the Sustaining Member may receive their lesson materials through the mail. The Sustaining Member may also attend any of the unit meetings or meetings in the county and state.  Check calendar on the home page to see available programs and workshops.

HOME & COMMUNITY EDUCATION MEMBERSHIP

 

Are you interested in keeping up to date with the latest information about food & fitness, food & fun friendly pumpkin, gourd decorating, fostering your creative spirit, tours to St. Charles, MO and a trip around McLean County, International lesson on Greece, and “Brightening Your Holidays”?  Then you hopefully have attended the 2007 fall programs and meetings that informed our membership about important issues such as these.  Our Winter-Spring programs are: the Winter Blues; landscaping; getting energy; credit history; mental health; cake decorating; flower arranging; family activities; and care giving-mobility issues. These will be presented January-June, 2008. Interesting and informative trips and tours are organized for the spring and fall seasons.  There are 11 educational groups throughout McLean County that meet monthly, September through May- eight day groups and three evening groups. We would like to help organize more day or evening groups that suit your individual needs.  This is regular membership.

 

If meeting with a specific group is too difficult, there is Sustaining Memberships where all monthly lesson materials are mailed to you.  You would also receive the monthly Extension Newsletter and receive timely information about HCE and other related programs and activities.  There is a yearly dues collected from all members ranging from $10-$15. (Sustaining Membership is $13.00.)

 

If you enjoy educational opportunities, exchange of ideas, leadership opportunities, community service projects, enhancing the home and family and your individual person as well as bridging friendships that are long lasting, call and receive information TODAY!
